Max Verstappen made it back-to-back world titles in 2022 – and broke a hatful of records in the process – as his partnership with Red Bull went from strength to strength under F1’s all-new technical regulations.

Dusting off a difficult start to the season, Verstappen claimed an incredible 15 wins from a possible 22, two more podium finishes, eight pole position awards and five fastest laps, leaving the competition in his wake.

Along the way he was involved in dramatic wheel-to-wheel battles with Charles Leclerc, pulled off charging recovery drives and delivered some utterly dominant displays – the Dutchman showing his prowess in every area en route to the crown.
